We have highly qualified, experienced personnel who are certified to design, install and support a broad range of Audio Visual and Video Conferencing solutions. With offices, warehouses and test facilities strategically position around Australia, CitadelTech is responsive, capable and agile.

We can scale to deliver large, complex solutions quickly without compromising our ability to deliver small projects, in a timely manner, on a daily basis.

To support our extensive client base we operate a 365/24/7 help desk service with support offerings tailored to meet even the most complex of needs.

Our History and Values

Citadel Technology Solutions (CitadelTech) designs, builds and manages communication and collaboration technology solutions.

Established in 1998 and now part of the Citadel Group (a publicly listed Information Technology company, ASX: CGL) the company is particularly focused on delivering fit for purpose, value for money, appropriate-to-needs, technology solutions that enable our clients be more productive and deliver better outcomes for their clients. Our offices are located around Australia and we have technical support facilities in all locations and large scale warehouse facilities in Melbourne and Adelaide.

We operate under a Quality Management System, fully compliant and endorsed to the International Standard AS/NZS ISO 9001:1008 and approach our work adopting principles of ITIL®, Agile, PMBOK® and Prince2® methodologies.


We recognise that to be successful any business needs to innovate and we take this seriously.

By way of example, CitadelTech has a rich history in the area of innovation in the Video Conferencing space.

  • In 1998 we established the first video enabled help desk in the country and this extended into the first managed services bureau in the Asia Pacific region.
  • In 2002 we pioneered the introduction of secure (restricted) video conferencing services. This led to us establishing a secure video help desk for the Department of Defence where we managed all video conferencing classified from Restricted through to Top Secret for over 15 years. We later replicated this service for the Department of Human Services managing this service into 2020.
  • In 2009 we integrated the first Multi-Presence system video system in Australia.
  • In 2019 we piloted the latest generation of video conferencing systems into 16 spaces for the University of Melbourne. The deployment of the first Crestron Flex Zoom Room systems in the Asia Pacific region was a pre-cursor to the subsequent deployment of both Zoom and Microsoft Teams enabled systems.

But our innovation strategy doesn’t stop at the product integration level. It’s all about people.

In 2019 we launched AVAssist.

This is a client centric mobile application that allows the user to connect to a video help desk with one touch connectivity. They can then use the smart phones in-built camera to show a technician the problem and this facilitates quick resolution. You can find more information about this exciting product here.

As a specialist provider of communication and collaboration technologies we operate in an ever changing, often unpredictable and constantly evolving business environment.

To fulfil our commitment to provide the best solution for every client – taking into account desired outcome and budget – we remain vendor agnostic in our approach to developing those solutions.

Our supply chain management approach is, however, built around maintaining strong vendor relationships and working closely with all established and emerging business partners. We actively work with our suppliers to ensure we are price competitive and technically enabled to support their products should they be chosen to support a client design package.
